Girl Boss Guerilla (1972)
Leader of the Red Helmet Gang Sachiko (Miki Suigimoto of Terrifying Girls’ High School) rides into Kyoto with her gang. They beat a competing girl gang lead by Nami (Reiko Ike) but then discover that the Tsutsui mob group want to make money from the gang’s operations.




a.k.a. Kaidan nobori ryu Of all the off-beat delights conjured up by the sorely missed Teruo Ishii, The Blind Woman’s Curse must surely rank as one of the strangest. Ishii’s countless and diverse credits include the Joys of Torture series
In less tasteful hands, this film based an a gekiga (adult manga) by Michio Hisauchi would’ve been a dirty movie with no commercial value. But director Kumashiro once again show’s why he’s the King of Erotica. This is a combination of stories dealing with the ecstatic adventures of high school student Sachiko from Weisser’s book.
Toshiya Fujita’s “Shura-yuki-hime: Urami Renga” aka. “Lady Snowblood 2: Love Song Of Vengeance” of 1974 is a quite different, but more than decent sequel to Fujita’s blood-soaked and beautiful 1973 gem “Shurayukihime” (aka. “Lady Snowblood”).
Yuki’s family is nearly wiped out before she is born due to the machinations of a band of criminals. These criminals kidnap and brutalize her mother but leave her alive. Later her mother ends up in prison with only revenge to keep her alive.
Sex Hunter opens with an exquisitely photographed performance of Swan Lake featuring Miki as the prima ballerina. After the recital she receives numerous bouquets, one of which is from. Akiko, a renowned ballerina who runs an exclusive ballet school.
